When I found out my Mother died I was googling around for cheap flights for military when I found Miles for Military.

They were incredibly fast to respond and got me a plane ticket that same day. I love that they ask for community volunteer hours in exchange. They’re a great organization who I would recommend to any active duty service member in need of a flight.

It used to cost me $500 every time to fly home from the Army for just a long weekend.

It made it so that my decision to travel home or not for the holidays was based on if I could afford the flight home. Military members should not be limited by travel costs to spend time with friends and family.

I support the Miles for Military mission because it’s creating innovative solutions to the service member mental health crisis and the improvement of society nowhere else found. 

It's initiatives to inspire volunteer service and reconnect families work to strengthen mental health in complementary ways.  Furthermore, Miles for Military is developing strategic partnerships with a wide range of social organizations to enhance local programs at the grass roots level supported by a global network of resources.
